Tell me your story →A few things I’ve built
Let me show you how I think about the work.
These are different businesses with different problems. The common thread is listening first, then building something useful.

Recipe Technology & Membership Platform
Shared Recipes Club
Shared Recipes Club started as a recipe site. I helped turn it into a connected membership and household-planning platform built around a massive recipe database.
See what I built
I built the membership setup around a massive recipe database, My Kitchen tools, personalized meal planning and a personal Kitchen Concierge. My Kitchen brings together pantry use, leftovers, substitutions, grocery budgets, meal plans, family profiles and dietary goals. AI helps personalize meal planning from the approved recipe and member information, while membership access connects the broader experience for each household.

Farmers Markets & Local Discovery
Local Harvest Farmers Markets
These markets had no digital presence beyond publicly created Google and Yelp reviews, so local shoppers struggled to find clear dates, locations and times. I built a clear community hub where people searching for farmers markets in Long Beach, CA can find locations, days, times and tap for directions—along with a vendor directory and vendor application feature.
See what I built
The existing digital presence was confusing, with publicly created Google and Yelp reviews leaving people unsure where and when the markets were happening. I built the seasonal “what’s in season” experience, the vendor directory and the vendor application system, then corrected publicly available Google Maps and review information. Within days of launching the website and making those corrections, hundreds of users found the markets through Google search. People had been searching for this product all along.

Education & Heritage
IHGS
IHGS needed a website that could bring awareness to its courses and help an American audience discover the institute. I built the US-facing experience around that journey.
See what I built
I built the website around course discovery, clearer education paths and a stronger digital presence in the US. The Ask Arthur concierge helps visitors find the right course or service, while digital marketing services support awareness, positioning and ongoing growth in the American market.
And a few smaller projects
Every business deserves a site that sounds like itself.

Dog Bakery & Local Marketing
Doggo Nice Day
Doggo Nice Day is my farmers-market bakery for dogs, so I built a site that feels as cheerful and trustworthy as the business.

Small Farm & Agricultural Storytelling
Avo Nice Day
Avo Nice Day is my small farm. The site helps people understand the story, the seasons and what is actually available.

Food Business & Brand Storytelling
California’s Delicious Nuts
I’m helping a new food business start with a clear, trustworthy home online.

About Banba Creations
Built by a broadcast icon who made the leap into digital and small business.
In fact, as Liza Lake, I made a name for myself in radio and television through talent, professionalism, and the ability to earn an audience's trust. Today, I am building the same reputation as a web developer and marketing strategist. As a result, I bring broadcast judgment into premium websites, press relations, and founder-led business growth.

Why "Banba Creations"?
Banba is the Matron Goddess of Ireland—a powerful symbol of resilience, creativity, and connection to the land. Likewise, her story reflects the way I approach my work. As one of the ancient protectors of Ireland, her spirit inspires my mission: to build strong, beautiful things that last.
In that spirit, Banba Creations helps turn dreams into reality, guiding small businesses from concept to launch and into sustainable growth. Moreover, my client work is grounded in what I live every week as a small business owner: I run Doggo Nice Day, a small bakery for dogs selling at farmers markets in Long Beach, CA; Avo Nice Day, a micro-farm where I am a certified producer of rare avocados and citrus in California; and Shared Recipes Club, a passion project that began with a simple frustration: I wanted recipes that were not bogged down by ads, walls of text, and keyword stuffing. I put it on the shelf for a while, then recently brought it back to life with all the features I wanted. Most of all, I love getting to know my customers, being a part of the community - and of course making the doggos happy!
